Legal Framework of the Department
In accordance with the decision of the Licensing Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated February 9, 2017 (protocols No. 39/1, 39/2) and the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated February 23, 2017 No. 291, the Science Research Institute of Public Law was granted a license for educational activities in the field of higher education at the third (educational-scientific) level.
In March 2021, the Department of Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies was established and the first intake of higher education applicants for the Doctor of Philosophy degree was conducted.
Main Tasks and Functions
Mission
Organization and coordination of activities for the training of higher education applicants at the third (educational-scientific) and scientific levels of higher education with the aim of obtaining the degree of Doctor of Philosophy and Doctor of Sciences.
Main Areas of Activity
- Planning, organization, coordination and analysis of training of higher education applicants at the third (educational-scientific) and scientific levels.
- Educational-methodological, informational and technical support of educational and scientific processes.
- Support for the activities of specialized academic councils.
Main Functions of the Department
- Organization and coordination of work on submission campaigns for postgraduate and doctoral studies for applicants for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy and Doctor of Sciences.
- Maintaining personal files of doctoral students and postgraduate students.
- Submission and submission to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine of datasets of projected evaluation for the training of higher education applicants for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in postgraduate studies under the educational-scientific program.
- Organization of training for higher education applicants for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in postgraduate studies under the educational-scientific program.
- Preparation and conducting of sessions for candidates examinations. Preparation and issuance of certificates of passed candidate examinations.
- Preparation of statistical reporting and information on the training of postgraduate and doctoral students.
